Unique landscapes and paths that are never too challenging make this E-Bike Etna tour (with E-MTB light assistance) suitable for all people who want a mountain biking excursion to discover the wonders of the Etna volcano.
If you book the Basic version and your technical and physical abilities allow it, you will have the possibility to continue and transform the tour into Advanced, in fact, once you arrive at the Galvarina hut, the guide in charge of the service may suggest you continue and modify your tour from Basic to Advanced, all this at no additional cost.
Etna E-Bike excursion on the Altomontana side lasting approximately 2 hours (maximum altitude approximately 1.900 mt), with a stop at the Galvarina hut.
Description of the Tours
From Piano Vetore (approximately 1.750 mt) we will head by E-Bike towards the Pista Altomontana (south of Etna) through a lava dirt road that is easy to travel and without major differences in altitude; subsequently we will stop at the Galvarina hut (approximately 1.850 mt) to enjoy the last views before returning on our trail.

From Piano Vetore (approximately 1.750 mt) we will head by E-Bike towards the Pista Altomontana (south of Etna) through a lava dirt road that is easy to travel and without major differences in altitude; subsequently we will stop at the Galvarina hut (approximately 1.850 mt), after the stop we will descend along a very long sandy dirt road towards Mount Leporello, where among woods and old lava flows the E-Bike adventure will come to life thanks the paths skilfully interspersed between climbs and lava trails with a unique flavour. The tour will end after a final characteristic and technical climb towards Piano Vetore, the starting point of the Tour.

We recommend: Technical/sports clothing suitable for mountain bike riding, trekking/tennis shoes, gloves, sunglasses or cycling glasses, sun cream (summer period).
In the summer period we recommend bringing additional water (at least 1 liter), snacks or fruit.
Sicily Bike Tourist Service, remembers that these tours, thanks to the help of E-Bikes, are the simplest thing that can be done, but, since they are still off-road, it is always necessary to have a minimum amount of mountain biking preparation.
